Leslie Mitchell has been a humanist celebrant since 2006 and was authorised by the Registrar General of Scotland to conduct legal weddings in 2007. Since becoming a Humanist Celebrant he’s conducted scores of weddings in a variety of locations throughout Scotland and one or two in France. His ‘day job’ is as a senior lecturer at the University of Stirling, where he works in the Department of Film, Media & Journalism. He’s written a couple of books, Freelancing in Television and Radio (2005) and Production Management for Television (2009), both published by Routledge. Leslie lives in Glasgow and in the Limousin in France.
